Caprice Restaurant NEW FOR THE WINTER
Caprice Restaurant will open! in December 2005 and join the ranks of Anguilla’s fine dining! Specializing in Northern Italian cuisine, guests will find many of their favorite dishes, along with innovative, new creations prepared by Chef Diego Pasi. Born in Switzerland and trained in Italy (Professional Institute “Nazzareno” Carpi), Chef Pasi has spent the past several years working at Ristorante Giardino at Niagra-on-the-Lake, Canada. The brainchild of Christine Janot (owner of Sebastiano’s Restaurant in St. Martin for 30 years) and long time friend, Henriette Johnson, who both long loved Anguilla and decided, for fun, and on a bit of a whim, to open an upscale new restaurant in Anguilla — this is their “Caprice” (French for whimsy). Designed by New York interior designer David Kaplan, the restaurant will have outstanding views of Maundy’s Bay and the mountains of St. Martin.
The Loblolly Art Gallery

The Haitian art collector Pat Butler will show her collection of works by such recognized names as Henri-Robert Bresil, Audes Saul, Jacques-Richard Chery, Tiga, Prosper Pierre-Louis, Louisianne Saint-Fleurant and Gerard from December 26 - January 6th.
